About

I'm Bryce Maxheimer. I spent four years in the Marine Corps as a Cyber Warfare Operator doing threat hunting, forensics, and network defense, and now I work as a Shift Lead at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service. I hold a DOD clearance.

I've worked both sides of the house. Red Team Certified Professional out of Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group, and a stack of SANS / GIAC blue-team credentials (GCFE, GCIH, GSEC, GFACT, GPYC) on the other shelf. I'm partway through a B.S. in Applied Cybersecurity at SANS Technology Institute - January 2027 if all goes to plan.

Fair warning: this site is a workbench, not a brochure. Some corners are unfinished because I'm still using them.

Stack

This site is HTML and CSS, with blog posts authored in Markdown and converted to HTML via a small PowerShell build script. It's hosted on Cloudflare Pages and the source lives on GitHub.
